Sydney FC have surpassed 10,000 Members in record time and are well on track to achieving a seventh Membership record in eight seasons ahead of Hyundai A-League 2019/20 season.
It’s the earliest Sydney FC have reached the 10,000 Member milestone, with the Sky Blues eyeing off a target of 18,000 Members this season.
The current Membership record stands at 16,968, achieved in the 2018-19 Championship winning campaign, with the club surpassing 15,000 Members in each of the last two seasons.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend welcomed all the returning and new Members and said he was enthused by the progress the club is making despite dislocation from its traditional home at the Sydney Football Stadium.
“It’s fantastic that so many people have renewed and come on board in such quick time this season,” he said.
“We are delighted to have them with us and I’d like to thank our Members for sticking with us through this transitional period as we head towards our new world class stadium at Moore Park.
“It shows the work we have done to engage the football people of Sydney and the local communities is paying off.
“Last season was a fantastic year for us winning an unprecedented Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League Championship double for the club.
“I’m confident we will be right up there this season and I look forward to that winning feeling once again.
“With new Membership options including our Flexi 3 and Flexi 6 Memberships, there’s a package for everyone, and I’d encourage those who haven’t secured a Membership yet to do so quickly and ensure you don’t miss out on a seat for our massive home Big Blue and Sydney Derby.”
Sydney FC Memberships come with a raft of benefits including free public transport to and from Hyundai A-League games, entry to stand alone Westfield W-League games, exclusive Member discounts on merchandise and more.
Keeping a Sydney FC Membership also means you get priority seating at the new stadium.
