Sydney FC’s Academy Training Program helps improve players and also offers a key opportunity for our coaches to scout and select talent for our Academy squads from U13.
This season six players joining our U13 Boys Academy squad came through our Academy Training Program (ATP).
The 2023/24 program is open for applications from talented 10, 11, 12-year-old boys who are currently part of SAP or Development squads at their local association or NPL club.

ACADEMY TRAINING PROGRAM KEY TO A-LEAGUE STARDOM
The development program provides opportunities for selected talented players to train under the Sydney FC Youth philosophy.
The program is run at two locations weekly:
- ATP North – Macquarie University Playing Fields
- ATP South – Kareela (Bates Drive, Kareela Synthetic Field)
It is run by coaches who work at the Sydney FC Academy, or have previously worked at the Academy, and follows a curriculum based on the skills taught at our Academy to maximize development of players of this age.
The program runs from Term 4 2023 through to the end of Term 3 2024 and is capped to a maximum number of players.

Inclusions | – 40 sessions x 2 hrs run by current or former Sydney FC Academy coaches – Access to training development platform S2S. – Mid-Program and End of Program Development Report – Sydney FC Junior Flexi Membership – Access to on-site physiotherapy at each session – Sydney FC Training Kit (Shorts, Shirt, Socks) |
