Sydney FC and the Make-A-Wish Foundation were pleased to welcome six year old Chad Landouw and his family into the club last week to grant Chad his wish.

Diagnosed with leukemia when he was 14 months old, Chad was invited to attend a personal training session with Steve Corica, John Aloisi, Simon Colosimo, Terry McFlynn and Clint Bolton.

The players spent an hour with Chad, giving him tips on his football skills whilst sharing their football knowledge.

Presented with his own personalised replica jersey and Chad was then joined by his family to watch the team train.

Chad-s experience with Sydney FC did not end there as he was invited to attend Sunday-s round 12 Hyundai A-League clash between the Sky Blues and Brisbane Roar.

Joined by his parents, Kim and Jim, older brothers, Nicolas, 11, and Justin, 9, Chad was able to fulfill every young footballers dream in leading captain Steve Corica and the team onto the pitch at the start of the game.

Chad is about to celebrate the 5th anniversary since his bone marrow transplant and has come through the long journey of recovery with a smile.
