Sydney FC and Under Armour have unveiled the brand-new away jersey ahead of the A-League season for 2026/27.
The 90’s-inspired design draws inspiration from the unmistakable shape of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, incorporating its form into a retro graphic that blends nostalgia with a contemporary look.
Set against a crisp white base, layers of Sydney FC Sky Blue and navy create a striking pattern across the jersey, celebrating the Club’s connection to the Harbour City wherever the Sky Blues play.
The design continues the celebration of Sydney featured throughout the Club’s 2026/27 kit collection, while giving the away jersey its own distinctive identity.
Sydney FC defender Ben Garuccio said the Harbour Bridge-inspired pattern was a standout feature of the new look.
“The Harbour Bridge design really stands out, and I like how they’ve given it that 90’s retro feel,” Garuccio said.
“It’s such an iconic part of Sydney, so having that represented across the jersey is a great way of taking the city with us when we play away from home.”
Further details reinforce the Club’s connection to the city, with “We Are Sydney” embellished inside the collar and on the lower front left of the jersey.
The jersey is engineered with Under Armour’s new Eliteflex fabrication, an incredibly lightweight, ultra-soft football fabric designed to wick sweat away and keep players cool while delivering a premium blend of performance and comfort.
A two-piece crew neck collar and self-fabric sleeve cuffs provide additional design detail, while a dropped hem offers an optimal fit and additional coverage.
The jersey features a silicone Sydney FC badge, with its white, sky blue and navy colourway creating a fresh take on the Club’s traditional colours.
Sydney FC defender Charlotte McLean said the white, sky blue and navy colourway gave the jersey a fresh look while maintaining the Club’s identity.
“I really like the white base and the way the sky blue and navy run through the design; it looks really clean while still being recognisably Sydney FC,” McLean said.
“The ‘We Are Sydney’ details are a nice touch as well, and the jersey feels incredibly light and comfortable to wear.”
Under Armour General Manager, Pacific, Fernando Reani said the new away jersey reflects the brand’s approach to combining high-performance innovation with a design that feels authentic to the club and its city.
