Mlinaric spent last season on loan with Croatian side Dynamo Zagreb following a two-week trial before returning to Sydney during the off-season.

The youngster played all four games for the Joeys at the FIFA Under 17’s World Cup in 2019.

“I’m looking forward to another opportunity to play regular football at the highest level possible and I’m hoping to get that with Brisbane,” said Mlinaric.

“It’s an exciting move for me and I’m confident I will learn more as a player and as a person.”

Head Coach Steve Corica said: “It’s a great chance for Anton to develop and get more experience as a centre half.

“He has fantastic potential and he will only benefit from more game time and opportunities like this.”

Mlinaric has served a 14 day quarantine period in Queensland and is due to link up with his new team mates today.
