Sydney FC has agreed a two-year partnership renewal with globally renown appliance manufacturer Smeg until the end of 2024.
The extension carries forward a successful relationship which started in 2021 and has developed over the past two years.
The opening of Sky Park, Sydney FC’s new world-class Centre of Excellence later this year, will see the first-class facility feature a number of Smeg’s state-of-the-art domestic and professional foodservice appliances.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Adam Santo is delighted to be extending the relationship.
“Smeg and Sydney FC’s family values and teamwork are at the forefront of why our partnership has been so successful over the past two seasons and we couldn’t be happier to be continuing the relationship,” he said.
“Smeg are a premium brand with whom we are very much aligned and are a very popular member of our Sydney FC corporate family.”
Sky Park, which will be based at Macquarie University Sports Fields, will be a world class high performance and community football facility, which will bring the whole club under the same roof for the very first time.
It will also provide an inclusive space for professional, community and grassroots players to gather alongside Sky Blues staff and Members.
These values of family and team work are traits shared by both Sydney FC and Smeg and are critical to the partnership’s success.
Wayne Campbell, Managing Director, Smeg Australia is looking forward to working more closely with the club.
“While the Smeg and Sky Blue families have integrated very well, I’m excited to continue to strengthen our bond with Members and fans as we enter a very exciting period in the club’s history with the re-opening of Allianz Stadium and impending launch of Sky Park, Sydney FC’s world-class Centre of Excellence.
“The Sky Park precinct will showcase Smeg’s total kitchen solution, from award-winning small appliances to major domestic cooking, dishwashing and refrigeration collections.
“The professional kitchen will also feature Smeg’s total foodservice solution, offering cooking, washing and blast chilling appliances.”
Sydney FC and Smeg will continue their successful social media series featuring players such as Andrew Redmayne, Adam Le Fondre and Taylor Ray creating in the Smeg kitchen.
Smeg will also continue to enjoy a range of benefits at Sydney FC’s home games.
