Rhys Youlley – The Young Socceroo arrives at Sydney FC following a successful stint in the Netherlands.

Nickolas Alfaro – After becoming the second youngest Sydney FC player in last year’s Australia Cup, Alfaro signed his first professional deal in January which will begin 1st July 2025.

Tyler Williams – After making his debut in the AFC Champions League Two, the central defender’s contract will officially start on the 1st of July 2025 after signing in January.

Contract Extensions

Alex Grant The experienced central defender joined in January and put pen to paper on a new two year deal.

Gus HoefslootThe shot stopper has committed to the Sky Blues, signing a three year contract extension.

Wataru Kamijo – Wataru fresh off his first call up to the Young Socceroos will remain at Sydney FC until the end of the 2028/29 season.

Returning From Loan

Patrick Wood – The striker has spent a spell with Perth Glory during the second half of the Isuzu UTE A-League getting more consistent minutes.

Matthew Scarcella – Matty Scarcella joined Rob Stanton at Newcastle Jets and was able to make multiple appearances during his time in the Hunter.

Shay HollmanThe midfielder has committed to the club for the next two seasons, remaining until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Caley Tallon-Henniker – The Sydney Derby winning goalscorer has extended with the club for the next two campaigns.

Amber Luchtmeijer – Having had a breakout season in the Ninja A-League following success in the NPL NSW, Amber has extended her time in Sky Blue.
