Sky Blue Stars Earn Player Partners

Sydney FC’s Player Partner draw wrapped up this week with 12 of Sydney FC’s corporate partners being drawn with a Sky Blues star for the season at a formal event hosted at Doltone House.

Each company will reap the benefits of being associated with a Sydney FC player including match day branding alongside their players headshot during the squad announcement on the scoreboard, match-day signage and other benefits.

John O’Connell from Farmer Joes Chicken said he was ecstatic with the draw and is looking forward to being aligned with Ibini for the upcoming Hyundai A-League season.

“It was fantastic to draw Bernie Ibini,” he said.

“He’s a player that we admire at Farmer Joes and he’s the player that we wanted. It’s fantastic for everyone.

“Of all the players to get we did very well to get Bernie and we’re very happy with that. There were a few sponsors who were after him so it worked out well.”

Sydney FC shotstopper Ivan Necevski praised the sponsor draw, thanking the partners for their support, saying he enjoyed the evening.

“It was a great night and a great opportunity to meet and thank those sponsors who invest in Sydney FC,” he said.

“We all know how important they are to the club and their contributions are always well received within the playing group.

“We’re looking forward to a successful season and hopefully this can be of great benefit to our corporate community.”
