Samantha Johnson joined Sydney FC at the start of the Westfield W-League 2014 season from National Womens Soccer League club Chicago Red Stars. Johnson made 12 appearances for the Red Stars for a total of 956 minutes and the 23 year old defender will look to secure the right back spot at the Sky Blues this season.
