Robert Mak named in Slovakian squad

Robert Mak has been named in the Slovakian squad for their upcoming friendly series against Austria and Norway.

The Sydney FC number 11 has had an impressive month under his belt as he netted three goals in his last four matches.

The opening goal in a pivotal 2-1 victory over Adelaide, the third in a 4-1 Sydney Derby rout and last weekend’s goal a man light against Brisbane Roar.

Mak has been deployed as a striker in recent matches and his form has paid dividends and he is rewarded with a call up for his national team.

He will play against Wellington Phoenix in Auckland this weekend before flying to Europe and returning for the clash against the Mariners on the 30th.

Well done, Robbie.
