Sydney FC midfielder Nick Carle has been named as an ambassador for The Johnny Warren Football Foundation.

Carle and former Adelaide United Marcos Flores will help promote the work of the Foundation throughout the country and abroad while working with the Foundation to help develop programs.

Carle and Flores are both former winners of the A-League-s prestigious Johnny Warren Medal, making it a good fit for the Foundation.

Nick Carle was thrilled with the role, expressing a desire to help spread the word of the Foundation and keep Johnny-s legacy alive. “The Foundation is doing some great work and I-m happy to be a part of something that Johnny would have loved.”

Lisa Middlebrook, CEO of the Foundation was excited about the announcement. “We are so pleased to bring these two wonderful players into our team. They are very dedicated to helping the Foundation achieve its goals and we are excited they want to give back to the game by working with the JWFF,” said Middlebrook.

Carle and Flores will start work immediately to work with a series of activities, the first of which will see them attending an ambassador-s luncheon with proceeds from the lunch going straight to the Foundation
