Ins & Outs | Men & Women return to league action

Ufuk Talay & Ante Juric have named their extended squad lists for this weekend’s matches within NSW.

The Men head West to face Macarthur while the Women host Brisbane Roar on Sunday.

Men’s

Ufuk Talay has named a strong squad for the challenge of Macarthur on Saturday night.

After impressing in the Glory game last week, Wataru Kamijo retains his spot in the side with Corey Hollman returning to the extended squad after being sick against Perth Glory.

Josh Sotirio also makes his return from injury and is available for selection too.

Mathias Macallister drops out of the extended squad while Aaron Gurd, Alex Popovic and Kyle Shaw all miss out.

Gus Hoefsloot and Tiago Quintal are still with the Young Socceroos who take on Saudi Arabia in the final of the AFC U20 Asian Cup on Saturday night.

Women’s

Ante Juric will be hoping that many of his young stars return fit and healthy from the Young Matildas camp.

Indi Dos Santos captained the side in a 5-2 victory over Thailand U20’s during the week to lift the PacificSports Aus Sports Cup and she returns to the extended squad this Sunday along with the rest of the squad.

Amber Luchtmeijer overcomes her concussion which ruled her out of Young Matildas camp while Margaux Chauvet and Millie Farrow return from injury.
