Joining the Sky Blues in July 2019, Luke Brattan made an immediate impact in the Sky Blues’ squad, quickly establishing himself as one of the first names on Head Coach Steve Corica’s team sheet.
Routinely named in the Man of the Match voting each week, Brattan became one of Sydney FC’s most dependable players thanks to his industrious efforts in midfield. Whether breaking up the play or launching an attack, the midfielder was influential in everything the Sky Blues’ did on the field.
Capping off a remarkable first year in Sky Blue, Brattan laid on the assist for the Championship winning goal, claimed another Hyundai A-League Premiership and was voted Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League Player of the Year for 2019/20.
