Hyundai A-League Champions Sydney FC recorded their third win in seven days with a 3-1 demolition of Brisbane Roar to take them back to the top of the A-League ladder in Round 8.

Goals from David Carney, Adrian Mierzejewski and Seb Ryall did the damage as the Sky Blues cruised home, despite a late Roar consolation.
