In the Westfield W-League Sydney FC have put themselves back in Finals contention after a 3-1 win over Newcastle Jets at Jubilee Stadium thanks to goals from Savannah McCaskill and Princess Ibini.
While in the second match of the evening, our Hyundai A-League clash against the Mariners, a superb hat-trick from Sydney FC captain Alex Brosque helped the Sky Blues to a 5-2 win over the Central Coast Mariners and sent Steve Corica’s men briefly top of the table.
