Frank Farina is relishing the selection headache he faces ahead of Sydney FC-s trip to Melbourne Heart on Sunday.

The Head Coach has Brett Emerton , Ali Abbas and Joel Griffiths available again after suspension, plus new signing Socceroo captain Lucas Neill pushing for a place.

And after an excellent run of four wins, two draws and one defeat it makes for a good problem for Farina.

“It-s a great headache to have I think. It must be the first time since I-ve been here that we-ve had a full squad to choose from so it-s good,” he said.

“Competition for places is high and everyone knows if you do play, you-ve got to play well otherwise there-s someone waiting.”

The match will be the first since the re-signing of marquee Alessandro Del Piero for next season which the coach hopes will rub off on the players this weekend.

“It-s great for the club and he-s very happy to stay but that-s got to show on Sunday,” said Frank.

“You can have a busy week or a good week, but the most important thing is the game on Sunday and that we turn up and are competitive.”

Watch Alessandro’s first game at Allianz Stadium since renewing his contract and the Socceroos captain Lucas Neill’s home debut for Sydney FC against the current league leaders Central Coast Mariners on Saturday 9th March (kick off 5.30pm) when Sydney will look to make it six wins in a row at home.
