Sunday is looming as a very special day for Sydney FC as we cap off an incredibly exciting fortnight with the presentation of the Sydney FC players with their shirts for the 2012/13 season at Allianz Stadium.
Sunday is looming as a very special day for Sydney FC as we cap off an incredibly exciting fortnight with the presentation of the Sydney FC players with their shirts for the 2012/13 season at Allianz Stadium.
We-d love to see as many Members and fans at Allianz Stadium to see Alessandro Del Piero, Terry McFlynn, Brett Emerton and the rest of the Sydney FC squad receive their Sky Blue shirts.
The day starts at 10am when the Sydney FC team will be put through their paces by Coach Ian Crook in a light training session. This will be followed by the presentation of the shirts and then the squad will assemble for a team photo at Allianz Stadium before the players sign some autographs.
Gates at Allianz Stadium will open at 9.30am and entry is free of charge to all Sydney FC Members and fans. The Stadium Store will also be open from 8.30am-11.30am in the Allianz Stadium forecourt.
“This is a great opportunity for Australian fans to see Alessandro Del Piero presented with his Sydney FC shirt, something that is a tradition in Europe,” said Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata.
“We have been overwhelmed by the support and good will that has been resonated since Alessandro Del Piero signed for Sydney FC and we want to share this special occasion with our Members and fans.”
