A new doorstep-to-seat digital mapping solution will be available for Sydney FC Members and fans when we return to Allianz Stadium in October this year.
The new app has been brought in to help improve the event day experience.
Sporting fans and event-goers attending the soon-to-be-opened Allianz Stadium, will be able to map their way from home to their seat with a click of a button.
The easy to use platform will allow patrons to plan every element of their journey from how to get to their favourite food and merchandise outlets, bathrooms, or the quickest route to their seat or corporate hospitality suite.
“The technology makes it easier for fans to find their favourite food and drink outlets, merchandise stalls, or corporate and function spaces,” said Tim Blight, Head of Technology at Venues NSW.
“We’re particularly excited about bringing the solution to the soon-to-be-opened Allianz Stadium – which will be a world-class 42,500 seat stadium right in the heart of Sydney CBD.”
The digital mapping solution is the first of its kind stadium wayfinding solution in Australia that will assist the millions of event attendees each year, ensuring a premium and seamless experience to their seat.
“We can’t wait for the rollout of this across all of the Venues NSW stadiums and entertainment centres.”
The platform will be rolled out first at the Sydney Cricket Ground before the other stadiums come online.
