Sydney FC have defeated their biggest rivals Western Sydney Wanderers 2-1 in the first ever Isuzu-UTE A-League Sydney Derby Finals match to book a place in the semi-finals against Melbourne City. Robert Mak and Adam Le Fondre struck in the second half to end Wanderers’ Championship hopes in front of 27,288 on their home ground following Morgan Schneiderlin’s first half penalty.
