Sydney FC physiotherapist Stan Ivancic give us an insight into his current work on the treatment table.
STAN’S INJURY UPDATE
Pascal Bosschaart (recovering from Achilles surgery)
Pascal is continuing his rehabilitation and treatment in Holland. I-ve communicated with his physio in Holland and he reports that there has been a positive improvement in strength and pain as well as range of movement in his injured foot.
Brett Emerton (recovering from ankle surgery)
Brett-s was reviewed yesterday and there-s been a significant decrease in swelling and pain in the ankle. His range of movement has increased significantly. He-s able to partially weight bear but still with the aid of crutches. The plan is that he will remove the boot and will be able to fully weight bear by the end of next week.
Nathan Sherlock (recovering from groin surgery)
Nathan has started a rehab programme concentrating on gentle graded strengthening exercise and stretches. He reports much improved mobility in his lower limbs as well as significantly decreased pain.
