Sydney FC Foundation’s Powerchair Football Community Program returns in October, this time supported by Prezzee!
Following on from Prezzee’s sponsorship of the Sydney FC Foundation Dinner earlier this year, Prezzee and the Foundation will be providing eight young people with the opportunity to try powerchair football for the first time.
After the success of July’s inaugural holiday clinic at Valentine Sports Park, participants in October will head to Five Dock Leisure Centre where Sydney FC Powerchair Head Coach, Jason Ryan will introduce them to the sport and put them through their paces.
Participants will also get the opportunity to meet and play with Sydney FC’s A-League Men’s and Women’s players across the two days.
“We are excited to be partnering again with Prezzee to deliver our second clinic in October.
“Their dedication to supporting powerchair and inspire our youth is much appreciated,” said Sydney FC Foundation Chair, Jenny Abood.
“Having a long personal history with Sydney FC, I’m thrilled to be able to formalise the Prezzee partnership with Sydney FC,” said Prezzee CEO and former Sydney FC board member Jamie Samaha.

“Our mission is to ignite human connection through digital gifting, and this initiative allows us to share the ‘gift of magic’ through football,” he added.
On the importance of support from organisations such as Prezzee, Sydney FC Powerchair Football Head Coach, Jason Ryan said: “Powerchair football can be an expensive sport to play.
“With powerchairs costing anywhere up to $25,000, and court hire costs required to play and train every week, the support of partners like Prezzee is invaluable.
“It’s only with their help that the sport can continue to grow and be experienced by the next generation of powerchair footballers,” he added.
