2023 Sydney FC Cup

Could your team win the 2023 Sydney FC Cup?

We are excited to confirm the Sydney FC Cup will be back again, bigger than ever in 2023!

In it’s third year, the tournament will see the competition split over two weeks with the best sides in mixed SAP and GSAP battling it out at our new Centre of Excellence in July.

Teams will play a minimum of six games, with five group stage matches and one knockout stage, with the winners of the prestigious trophy decided in a thrilling finals series.

Sydney FC Academy staff will be on hand to spot talented youngsters who shine across all age groups in the tournament.

What you need to know

  • Location: The Sydney FC Cup will be held at the A-Leagues team training base at Sydney FC’s Sky Park, at Macquarie University Sporting Fields.
  • Dates:
    GSAP – Thursday 6 & Friday 7 July
    SAP – Thursday 13 & Friday 14 July
  • Entry open to:
    GSAP – U10, U11, U12 & U13s
    Mixed SAP – U11 & U12s
  • Times: Games will be played from 9am-5pm each day, with teams receiving the draw closer to the date.
  • Match Details: Clubs will play a minimum of 6 and maximum of 8 (depending upon qualification) across the two days, with matches lasting 30 minutes.
  • Team details: Each SAP & GSAP licensed team can enter up to two teams in each age group, with each registered team having a minimum of 10 and maximum of 12 players, players are not interchangeable between teams from the same club.
  • Price: Team entries will cost $1,500

The Sydney FC Cup registration fee includes:

  • Two full days of football action
  • Opportunity to be crowned the best U11, U12s SAP or U13, U12, U11 GSAP team in Sydney, including prizes from Sydney FC sponsors.
  • Potential to be identified by Sydney FC Academy staff.
