Win your football club $1000 with Hyundai’s Goals for Grassroots program.
For the Hyundai A-League 2010/11 Season, Hyundai will continue their Goals for Grassroots program.
And Hyundai A-League 2010 Champions Sydney FC will again play their part in the program being involved with six different Goals for Grassroots games.
These matches include three home games at the Sydney Football Stadium. The matches include; Adelaide United on September 4th, Newcastle Jets on November 7th, and a grand final rematch against Melbourne Victory on January 15th.
The other three matches are away to; the Central Coast Mariners on December 4th, Perth Glory on January 29th, and the Newcastle Jets on February 6th.
The Goals for Grassroots campaign will see Hyundai donate a guaranteed $1,000 per game, plus another $1000 for every goal scored by the Hyundai A-League home team, to a maximum of four goals ($5,000), in one chosen match for each round of the Hyundai A-League regular season. All proceeds will be donated to a nominated grassroots club.
Over the course of the Hyundai A-League regular season a minimum of $27,000 will be donated to grassroots clubs around the country.
The program is an initiative by Hyundai primarily developed to benefit the grassroots football clubs of Australia.
For any grassroots club wishing to be involved, Hyundai will run on-line applications through Hyundai-s corporate and www.ilovefootball.com.auwebsite. The grassroots clubs chosen by Hyundai will be based on the merit and the needs of the club.
To be eligible for selection each grassroots club must be an affiliated to their Member Federation and Football Federation Australia.
Each selected grassroots club will receive complimentary match tickets to their designated home game.
The grassroots club will receive their payment in a formal ‘cheque presentation.- The presentation will involve a Hyundai A-League player, a representative of the grassroots club and a Hyundai dealer in a photograph on the field of play with coverage on the big screen.
