Sydney FC’s latest recruit is television presenter Alissa Smith. The young Sydneysider will be hosting Sydney FC TV’s What’s On Guide in the coming months, but who is the girl in front of the camera?
Alissa Smith is Sydney FC’s newest face. The TV presenter is joining the crew at Sydney FC TV to present a weekly guide for fans to find out what’s coming up on their favourite club’s television channel.
Alissa joined us for the first time to watch the fantastic 3-2 win over Gold Coast United and admits she’s already been taken in.
“The first time I saw Sydney FC play at the SFS the atmosphere was electric! The fans were so vocal and supportive – I’m hooked!
“I was literally on the edge of my seat. For Sydney to take out the game in the way they did in the final few seconds was awesome.”
“It seems the Sydney fans are part of the team, their support was intense and drove the players on to that incredible comeback.”
Alissa will be with us throughout the season so here’s a little bit more about the girl from Bondi.

She has appeared in Home and Away as ‘Cindy- the Diner Waitress, ‘Lara Bingle- in TV1-s Stupid Stupid Man, ‘Madeleine Birch- in East West 101 to name a few.
In 2008 and 2009, she moved her life to the Snowy Mountains, where she worked as the Head Snow Reporter, reporting live for Network Ten-s Early and Morning News, Sports Tonight, SKY News, Prime, WIN and several radio stations.
On returning to Sydney, Alissa has been working with Network Ten in various position including presenting the behind the scenes for sports program Thursday Night Live, Online Producer for ONE HD, Assistant News Producer, and Online Producer for MasterChef, Biggest Loser, and Junior MasterChef.
