The A-Leagues inaugural ‘Unite Round’ is fast approaching with the first match set to kick off this Friday evening, and you are invited!
Joining together in Sydney to play top tier football over three glorious days, the first Unite Round for the 2023/2024 season is set to host all 24 teams from both the Liberty and Isuzu-UTE A-League competitions.
With lots of activities for fans and Members to enjoy, and prizes up for grabs, the Unite Round is a great opportunity to get your families and friends involved! What better way than to spend the weekend watching your favourite clubs go head-to-head in the heart of NSW capital?
To help guide you, we have listed the key activities for fans to enjoy this Unite Round:
Live Music – listen to some of Australia’s most talented DJ’s available at all three stadiums for pre-game and half-time entertainment. The DJ booth/stage area will be installed within the seating bowl, allowing fans to get up close and personal to the talent.
Signing Session – get a signature from an A-League star in the dedicated “fan zone”! For each of the four participating teams for each match day/venue there will be a combined fan zone for fans to get up close to their A-Leagues stars to sign autographs, meet and greet with fans and photo opportunities.
Photo Booth – Allianz and Commbank Stadium will have a photo booth available for attendees to capture their favourite memories.
Fans Control The Screen – Using the latest Augmented Reality Technology, fans can paint themselves in their team colours and interact with the stadium big screen LIVE from their mobile phone camera (monitored by Max Events).
McDonalds ‘Keepy Uppy‘ – exclusive to Allianz Stadium, Macca’s will return with their Keepy Uppy activation will encourage fans to show their Keepy Uppy skills with mini Big Mac balls being handed out to participants.
Meet The Mascots – get ready to meet your favourite club mascot at Allianz, Commbank Stadium and Leichhardt Oval! To secure a picture with your favourite A-League mascot, make sure to head to the fan zone. There will also be pre-game and half-time competitions for fans to go face-to-face with the mascots on field.
Pyrotechnics – stay ignited with some pyrotechnic effects at all three venues for spectacular match day moments.
E-Leagues – get the blood pumping and go up against fellow fans, and E-League players in select Unite Round match days at Allianz Stadium in ‘EAFC 24’ pop-up.
Fun For The Kids – worried about keeping the kids entertained before the game? At all three stadiums, there will be a range of kid friendly activities to enjoy. Get their favourite team colours painted on their face at the face painting bar and support your team with pride. Visit the air brush tattoo station for a quicker option than face painting using temporary paint (lasts up to two days) to bring colour and fun. Have their hair braided with team colours and add some extra excitement by taking a trip to the glitter bar. There will also be a selection of interactive inflatables for kids to engage with from when gates open, pre game, half time or during matches – a great way to get them hyped for a match!
Keep your eyes peeled for fan-based competitions and giveaways such as the t-shirt cannon and on-field games like the cross-bar challenge and celebrity shoot out.
