Sydney FC are calling on Members and supporters to turn Leichhardt Oval into a sea of Sky Blue this Saturday night when one of Australian football’s greatest rivalries resumes against Melbourne Victory (7.35pm kick-off).
In a push to create one of the most atmospheric Big Blues in recent memory, the club is urging all fans to deck themselves head-to-toe in Sky Blue and help transform the 8th Wonder of the World into a true home fortress.
To amplify the spectacle, Sydney FC will install special lighting around the venue to bathe key areas of Leichhardt Oval in Sky Blue.
Food outlets will also join the celebration by offering a range of blue-themed treats and drinks, all available throughout the ground.

Sydney FC Captain Rhyan Grant says the team always feels an extra lift when the stands and hill are drenched in the club’s iconic colour — especially for the Big Blue.
“When we can see and feel that Sky Blue energy from the hill and the stands, it genuinely lifts us,” Grant said.
“Melbourne Victory will bring their dark blue as they always do, and we know what this fixture means to both sets of supporters. We want our fans to outnumber them, out-sing them and absolutely cover Leichhardt in Sky Blue.
“It really makes a difference for us on the pitch.”
With rivalry, passion and history all combining at Leichhardt Oval, Sydney FC are calling on every Member and fan to play their part in creating a Sky Blue wall of noise and colour.
Tickets are on sale now — and fans are urged to arrive early, wear Sky Blue, and be ready to back the boys in one of the most anticipated Big Blues in years.
