The Brazilian has signed a one year deal with the Sky Blues after impressing during a spell as injury replacement last year.
“I-m very happy to be here again and I-m looking forward to starting the season, but right now it-s nice to be back training with the guys,” he said.
“It-s a nice city, big club and my family are very happy here, so it-s all perfect.”
The former Newcastle Jet believes the squad has improved since with the signings of Head Coach Frank Farina and wants to challenge for the title.
“We have a good squad here, obviously with Pedj coming in now it will be better, but we have all of the players who the boss wants so it-s good.”
“We have to be positive and with the new guys coming in like Matt Jurman, it means we have a good squad and I hope we do well this year.
