Over the last few weeks some of Sydney FC’s stars have been out and about spreading the football gospel at Westfield Shopping Centres across the City, and thanks to your support the visits have proven a huge success.
Last week John Aloisi, Terry McFlynn and Rob Middleby took centre stage at Westfield Miranda, and all three had a great night meeting and greeting the hundreds of fans that turned out in the Southern Sydney suburb.
The success of that event added to an earlier visit to Westfield Liverpool, where Sydney fans were again out in force for their chance to meet Alex Brosque, Shannon Cole and Mark Bridge.
Supporters at both events had the chance to win prizes and get an autograph or photo with their favourite Sydney star, and the players put fans through their paces with a number of drills designed to test their skills.
The turnout at both appearances has provided a real boost for the team as it prepares for the second half of its Hyundai A-League campaign, and we look forward to seeing you at the game when we return home to host the Queensland Roar at the SFS, next Friday, November 28.
