Dutch defender Pascal Bosschaart will make his debut for the Sky Blues tomorrow night (Wednesday) when Sydney FC takes on NSW Premier League side Parramatta FC at Parramatta Stadium.

The 31-year-old, who played 357 games for Feyenoord, FC Utrecht and ADO Den Haag in the Dutch Eredivisie (top division), will line up with his new team mates for the first time after missing the first two Pre Season matches with a back strain.

“I-m very happy to be getting out onto the pitch to play my first game for Sydney FC,” Bosschaart said. “Everything has been great for me since I came to Australia except I really wanted to join my team mates and play matches.

“I have been working hard and now I get the chance to play some games.”

Bosschaart will join new signings Karol Kisel, Michael Beauchamp and Jamie Coyne as well as established Sydney FC stars Nick Carle, Bruno Cazarine, Mark Bridge and Captain Terry McFlynn in the club-s 3rd hit out of the Pre Season Community Program.

Sydney FC defeated St George 3-0 last Wednesday with goals to strikers Mark Bridge, Bruno Cazarine and Caleb Rufer after opening the Pre Season with a rusty 1-1 draw against Macarthur.

Sydney FC will be without Australian U20 trio Terry Antonis, Rhyan Grant and Dimitri Petratos, who have been given two weeks off after returning from the U20 World Cup in Columbia.
