Sydney FC has discontinued its proceedings in relation to the Breach Notice under clause 6.1 (a), (b) and (c) of the FFA Code of Conduct issued to Liam Reddy for admitting to being drunk on the flight to New Zealand last week.
Sydney FC has discontinued its proceedings in relation to the Breach Notice under clause 6.1 (a), (b) and (c) of the FFA Code of Conduct issued to Liam Reddy for admitting to being drunk on the flight to New Zealand last week.
Based on additional information that was made available to Sydney FC after the Breach Notice was issued, the Club will now investigate whether Liam-s conduct is in breach of clause 11.3 (b) of the Standard Player Contract, which relates to “serious misconduct”.
Liam has been issued with a further notice and directed to attend a meeting with The Club at the Sydney FC offices on Tuesday morning (10 April 2012) to respond to allegations relating to serious misconduct.
Sydney FC will make no further comment on the issue until after the meeting.
