Sydney FC Signs Young Goalkeeper Tiahna Robertson

Sydney FC have secured the signature of talented young goalkeeper Tiahna Robertson for the upcoming 2025-26 Ninja A-League Women’s campaign.

The 22-year-old former Newcastle Jets shot stopper will join United States import Heather Hinz in a new-look goalkeeping line-up for the Sky Blues this season.

Robertson made several appearances for the Jets’ first team last term, having made her A-League debut in the 2023-24 season during an emphatic 8-0 victory over Adelaide United, and also boasts finals experience.

In addition to her time in the top flight, she has built a strong foundation with several seasons in the NPL NSW Women’s competition with UNSW FC.

Set to link up with her new teammates next month, Robertson expressed her delight at joining Australia’s most successful women’s club.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Sydney FC,” she said.

“This is the biggest club in the A-League Women’s and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of it. I want to learn, improve and push myself to the next level this season.

“With the quality of the players and staff here, I know I’ll be in the perfect environment to do that.”

Head Coach Ante Juric welcomed the addition of the young keeper and is looking forward to seeing her develop within the Sky Blues set-up.

“Tiahna is a talented and hard-working young goalkeeper, with great potential for growth” Juric said.
