Sydney FC have signed Workplace Law as the Sky Blues’ Westfield W-League major partner for the Westfield W-League 2016/17 season, the club announced today.

A specialist law firm providing employers with legal advice, representation and workplace training in all workplace matters, Workplace Law will receive a range of benefits from their one year partnership, with their logo to feature prominently on the front of the Sydney FC Westfield W-League home and away playing shorts and sleeves as well as on coaches apparel.

Already active in the Hyundai A-League as player partner for international marquee Filip Holosko for season 2015/16, this is Workplace Law’s first foray into the women’s game.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata welcomed Workplace Law’s increased involvement with the Sky Blues corporate family for the 2016/17 season.

“Workplace Law have been partners of Sydney FC for a number of years and I’m pleased to have them on board in a greater capacity for the 2016/17 season,” he said.

“Our Westfield W-League corporate family continues to grow and it’s fantastic to see that level of support in the women’s game.”

Director of Workplace Law, Shane Koelmeyer, said Workplace Law was looking forward to their involvement with the Sky Blues Westfield W-League squad for the coming season.

“Aligning with organisations with similar values to our own is our primary consideration when it comes to decisions about who we do business with – extending our partnership with Sydney FC reflects our confidence in how Sydney FC (front office, players and coaches) conducts itself on and off the field and in the community.” he said.

“Sydney FC’s Westfield W-League team is one of the competition’s most successful teams and we are delighted to provide the corporate support to assist the coaches and players to continue that level of success.”

Sydney FC’s Westfield W-League team will return to competition in October.
