Sydney FC has an exciting first on Saturday, working with Australia’s leading chocolate company, Cadbury to hold a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Allianz Stadium for the first time ever and give families the opportunity to create lifelong Easter memories with their beloved team at the heart.
Hosted by the much-loved Cadbury Easter Bunny, 20,000 Cadbury Easter Eggs will be scattered across Cadbury’s space at Kippax Lake from 7:00pm ahead of the Sky Blues’ Hyundai A-League clash against Brisbane Roar for families to gather and start their countdown to Easter in style.
The hunt will take place in four rounds for different age groups, with budding hunters able to take part via their regular match day ticket or membership.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend said the Easter Egg Hunt would spread the family cheer amongst the Stadium ahead of kick off.
“At this time of year with Easter fast approaching, there’s nothing more iconic than an Easter Egg Hunt, and what a venue Allianz Stadium is for one,” Townsend said.
“Everyone at Sydney FC is thrilled to welcome Cadbury and the Cadbury Easter Bunny to our home, and we can’t wait to see all the smiling faces of the participants as they search for their treats.
“As a family club this is the perfect way to give back to our fans at this time of the year and we look forward to seeing everyone in attendance as we take another step towards the Premiers Plate.”
The hunt will be staggered into four age groups: 7:05pm (ages 3 years and their parents), 7:15pm (ages 4-5 years), 7:25pm (ages 6-8 years) and 7.35pm (ages 9+ years). Families are asked to gather at the end of the movie screening 5 minutes prior to the allocated time spot for their age.
It’s set to be a massive Family Fun Day at Allianz Stadium ahead of the Sky Blues clash against Brisbane Roar (kick off 7:50pm AEDT), with an exclusive screening of Ferdinand on the big screens preceding the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt.
