Sydney FC’s stars have delighted fans by having a kickaround with them at Westfield’s Pitt Street Mall.

Captain Terry McFlynn, Juho Makela, Karol Kisel and Joel Chianese chatted and signed autographs before taking to the artificial pitch for a quick ball session.

Captain Terry McFlynn, Juho Makela, Karol Kisel and Joel Chianese chatted and signed autographs before taking to the artificial pitch for a quick ball session.

“I-ve never played in a shopping mall,” said Joel. “It-s busy there-s people everywhere. We-ve had a few kids coming over and having a bit of fun with the boys, it-s good to get the community involved.

“It-s something different, I rarely come to the city so this is a new experience for me but it-s all good fun.”

The players enjoyed the experience so much even the artificial pitch was given the thumbs up.

“Great surface, can-t complain with it. The boys have got no injuries, no ankle strains so it-s all good.”
