Sydney FC is delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Olivia Price for the upcoming Ninja A-League season.
Price, commonly known as Liv, returns to the Sky Blues after previously representing the Club across four seasons from 2013/14 to 2016/17.
The 30-year-old brings a wealth of A-League Women experience to Sydney FC, having also enjoyed spells with Western Sydney Wanderers and Canberra United.
Price has made more than 100 appearances in the national competition and has represented Australia at Under-20 level, including captaining the Young Matildas.

A hard-working and composed midfielder, Price adds leadership, experience and depth to James Slaveski’s squad replacing the departed Kirsty Fenton.
Head Coach James Slaveski said Price’s quality and familiarity with the Club made her an important addition ahead of the new campaign.
“Liv is an experienced and intelligent footballer who understands the league extremely well,” he said.
“She brings a real professionalism to the group, as well as quality on the ball and a willingness to do the hard work for the team.
“Her previous time at Sydney FC means she understands what this Club represents, and we’re excited to welcome her back into the Sky Blue family.

“She will add valuable experience to our squad and we believe she can make a strong contribution both on and off the field this season.”
Price said she was excited to return to the Club where her A-League Women journey began.
“Sydney FC has always been a special Club to me, so I’m really proud to be coming back,” she said.
“I have great memories from my first time here and I’m looking forward to getting to know the group, working with James and helping the team have a successful season.
“There is a lot of quality in this squad and I’m excited by the ambition of the Club. I can’t wait to pull on the Sky Blue shirt again and get started.”
Price is expected to go straight into the squad for Sydney FC’s Ninja A-League season opener against Adelaide United at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre on Sunday at 4.30pm.
Meanwhile the Sky Blues have signed Josie Wilson and Poppy Tay along with promoting Lauren Nada, Chelsea McCredie and Asha Sutton from our Female Development Squad to the A-League Women’s squad.
All players have been signed on short term contracts to cater for the absence of seven players who are currently representing the Junior Matildas at the U17 FIFA World Cup
