Sydney FC have extended their relationship with Australian Careers Business College (ACBC) by signing ACBC as the club’s Australian Marquee Player Partner for one year.
ACBC will be aligned with Sydney FC record goal scorer Alex Brosque, who signed on as the Sky Blues Australian Marquee in July, until the end of the 2014/15 Hyundai A-League season.
In siding with the Sky Blues, ACBC will be afforded match day branding alongside Brosque’s headshot during the squad announcement on the scoreboard, match-day sponsorship for two games and other benefits.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata was pleased to be continuing the relationship and welcomed ACBC on board for a fourth consecutive season.
“We’re very proud to be continuing our long standing association with ACBC,” Pignata said.
“Over the last four years Sydney FC and ACBC have enjoyed mutual success and we feel it was only right to continue our partnership.
“Under Graham Arnold’s leadership, I’m sure ACBC will reap the full rewards from Alex Brosque’s return to the Sky Blues.”
Chief Executive Officer of ACBC, Ann Elisha, said it was a pleasure to continue working so closely with Australia’s biggest football club.
“ACBC are pleased to continue our alignment with Sydney FC,” she said.
“Sydney FC is a leader in the Hyundai A-League and I’m looking forward to a successful season ahead.”
This latest corporate partnership puts the Sky Blues on track to continue its annual sponsorship growth and improve last year’s record numbers, following the new deals with shirt sponsors Webjet, StarTrack and Beechwood Homes.
The news also follows Sydney FC’s recent announcement that they are receiving record levels of media exposure for a Hyundai A-League club.
