Mitchell McAsey, Sydney FC’s Coach Development & Tournaments Officer was so pleased with how the event turned out across the four days of competition.

“The Under Armour Sydney FC Cup 2025 was a record-breaking year for the tournament, hosting more teams, games, activations, and professional sponsors than ever before.

“It was such a positive environment across all four days of action and we would like to thank all players, coaches, parents, volunteers and referees for contributing to this, and we hope that many lasting memories were made” he continued.

Sydney FC would also like to acknowledge the Northern Suburbs Referee Association and Northwest Sydney Referee Association for providing official Referees for the tournament, who did an excellent job of managing the games.

Eastern Suburbs Football Association Technical Director Jaime Gomez also heralded the tournament.

“Thank you and the team at Sydney FC for a great Sydney FC Cup for both the Mixed and Girls.

“All our teams had a great time and we are looking forward to next year.”

Palm Beach Soccer Club’s Female Football Coordinator also echoed similar sentiments.

“On behalf of Palm Beach Soccer Club Female Program, we wanted to share our thanks for the opportunity for our two groups of players in our Under 12/13 age group to attend the recent Sydney FC Cup.

“It was a great experience for players, coaches and parents on football, the opportunities and experiences (life and football) that can be achieved through taking yourself out of your local club environment and attending events of this nature.”
