Sydney FC have captured the signature of Young Matilda and Perth Glory superstar Hana Lowry for the next two seasons.
The 21-year-old has set the Liberty A-League alight since making her debut back in 2019 against Sydney FC and took home the Perth Glory player of the year award after an outstanding season in the West.
The midfielder played every single minute of Glory’s 2023/24 campaign and can’t wait to join the Champions and pick up where she left off.
“I am so excited to be joining the biggest club in the country.
“Sydney have always been challenging at the top of the table and I believe that they can take my game to another level,” she said.
“I will try my absolute hardest to help this club win more silverware and win their third Championship in a row and I can’t wait to get started.”

Lowry has represented her country at U23, U20 and U17 level and was part of the squad who went to Costa Rica for the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2022.
The Western Australian has made over 70 appearances in the Liberty A-League and Head Coach Ante Juric thinks that her play style will make her a fan favourite in no time.
“Hana is an outstanding player full of class and quality and she is a fantastic signing for the club.
“She has the quality to go to another few levels in her play and I am looking forward to seeing her grow, shine and become a Sydney FC star,” he said.
“Hana is the type of player fans come to watch. I have no doubt with her play she will fit in well at Sydney and in no time will become a fan favourite.”
Hana will join up with former Glory team-mate Millie Farrow when pre-season kicks off in September for the Sky Blues.
