Sydney FC today announced upcoming changes to its ownership structure with founding shareholder David Traktovenko set to take a majority stake in the club.

As a result, long term board member and Vice Chairman Scott Barlow will take on the role of Chairman.
Scott Barlow said: “We are pleased to now be in a position to increase our shareholding and fund the club into the future.”
“We have been a shareholder in Sydney FC since day one and our passion and commitment to the club is as strong as ever.”
Sydney FC will announce further changes to the composition of the Board in the coming days.
Paul Ramsay and Frank Lowy will retain their existing shares but will not participate in future capital raisings.
