Sydney FC has celebrated two decades of Sky Blue excellence with the unveiling of their 20th Anniversary A-League Men’s and Women’s Teams at the 2025 Sky Blue Ball.
The prestigious line-ups were selected by the club’s loyal Members, who voted based on a set of eligibility criteria designed to honour the most impactful players across the club’s proud history.
To qualify, players had to have started a minimum of 30 games for the A-League Men or 24 games for the A-League Women – the equivalent of two full seasons during earlier W-League formats.
Additionally, any player who had received a major Sydney FC or A-Leagues award was eligible, eg. A-League Golden Boot – Adrian Segecic or Grand Final Player Of The Match – Madison Haley – having contributed significantly,

Those named in the 2015 Men’s Team of the Decade were also eligible.

Head Coach: Graham Arnold
Goalkeeper: Andrew Redmayne
Defenders: Rhyan Grant, Alex Wilkinson, Jordy Buijs, Michael Zullo
Midfielders: Anthony Caceres, Milos Ninkovic, Adrian Mierzejewski, Joe Lolley
Forwards: Alex Brosque (Captain), Bobô
Bench: Danny Vukovic, Alessandro Del Piero, Terry McFlynn, Adam Le Fondre, Steve Corica
One of the club’s most decorated squads, the Men’s Team is headlined by Graham Arnold, the most successful coach in Sky Blue history, and Alex Brosque, who captained Sydney FC to multiple championships and remains the club’s all-time leading goalscorer.

The Women’s Team reflects Sydney FC’s proud legacy as a dominant force in the A-League Women’s competition, featuring international stars like Sam Kerr, Caitlin Foord, and Kyah Simon, along with long-standing club leaders Teresa Polias and Natalie Tobin, who were jointly named captains.
Head Coach Ante Juric, who has overseen a golden era for the Sky Blue Women, was recognised for his outstanding leadership and role in player development across the last decade.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Mark Aubrey congratulated all those selected:
