STRADA Investments has increased its shareholding in Sydney FC to 88 per cent making it the largest single shareholder in the club’s history.
This follows the acquisition by STRADA Investments of the shares held by the second largest shareholder, Paul Ramsay Holdings, who held a 28 per cent stake.
Sydney FC Chairman and STRADA Investments Managing Director Scott Barlow said: “We are as committed as ever to this football club and this additional investment enables us to continue to provide stability to Sydney FC.
“We are excited about moving forward with our plans for the club, including building on the success of last season and the development of the Sydney FC Academy.
“I’d like to recognise the late Paul Ramsay for the major contribution he made to Sydney FC in its formative years.”
STRADA Investments has been a shareholder in Sydney FC since the clubs inception in 2005 and has been the majority shareholder since 2012.
