Sydney FC defender Tori Tumeth has committed to the club for another year, re-signing for the Ninja A-League Women’s 2025/26 campaign, which will mark her third season in Sky Blue.
The 24-year-old has been a near ever-present over the past two seasons, making 51 appearances for Australia’s most successful Women’s club, including representing the Sky Blues in the AFC Asian Women’s Club Championship.

A firm favourite with Sydney FC Members, Tumeth is renowned for her tenacious and passionate play, giving 100% every time she pulls on the Sky Blue jersey.
Early this morning she captained the Australian Under 23 side to victory in the ASEAN Women’s Championships in Vietnam, with a 1-0 victory over Myanmar in the Final.

Tumeth is considered a key peg in the Sky Blues chase for silverware this season and is thrilled to continue her career with her hometown club.
“It’s been an unreal 24 hours for me – captaining the side in the Final last night and today confirming another season with Sydney FC,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to playing in front of my family, friends and our amazing fans at Leichhardt Oval once again.

“It looks like we’re going to have a really strong squad this year, that is capable of having a successful season.
“I am extremely competitive and I want to win every single game. Last year we fell short of our goals and this year I’m adamant that won’t happen again. We want to compete for the Championship.”

Head Coach Ante Juric says Tumeth’s re-signing is an important step in building his squad for the season ahead.
“Tori has been an excellent player for us over the past two years,” Juric said.
“She’s consistent, committed, and brings a level of determination that’s crucial to a winning team.
“She’s become an integral part of the squad and is a great teammate who sets the standard with her competitiveness.
“I’m thrilled to have her back, and I’m confident she’ll play an important role in our push for silverware this season.”
The Sky Blues are close to finalising a number of additional signings, including several exciting overseas recruits, and will return for pre-season training in late-September.
