Sydney FC has put up the Sold Out signs up at all 17 Holiday Clinic locations with over 1,800 kids spending time with our expert coaches in July.
The massive number is a testament to Sydney FC’s status as the country’s leading club provider in the community space.
Attendance at our popular Holiday Clinics supported by McDonalds regularly top 1,500 happy children – but this is the first time all of our camps from the Northern Suburbs down to Wollongong and the Illawarra are booked out.
The Sky Blue’s Girls Only Clinics are also full – suggesting the excitement surrounding the FIFA Women’s World Cup is building amongst parents and young players.
Sydney FC CEO Adam Santo is proud that the club’s investment in the community is helping more youngster’s connect with the game.
He said: “With these record numbers across Sydney for our Holiday Clinics, it continues to demonstrate we are the leading club in the country across any sport for community and grassroots engagement.
“Our Holiday Clinics have been operating for over ten years and they provide a safe and friendly environment for young footballers to enjoy the best and most popular sport in the world.
“I am really proud of the records we are breaking, and I have been inundated with positive feedback from parents and kids about how much they enjoy the Sydney FC Holiday Clinics”
“Each participant at the Holiday Clinic receives Sydney FC apparel, plus a Junior Membership for our games at the brand-new Allianz Stadium, and the kids get to meet their Sydney FC heroes. These kids are being introduced to Sydney FC with an objective of converting them into supporters of the club.”
Sydney FC Clinics offer an active, fun and entertaining way to spend the school holidays, playing football.
They are aimed at boys and girls aged 5-13 and provide the perfect opportunity for kids to boost their skills and make new friends. Also, this year, Sydney FC are still operating their Girls Only Clinics which allow girls to improve their skills in an encouraging environment with female coaches.
These clinics were among the first to sell out with FIFA Women’s World Cup mania helping to spread the football word.
