Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League squad donned their best fancy dress on Sunday, as the players hosted their annual Christmas party in the city.
The squad all dressed up as characters of their choosing for the night, with Milos Ninkovic dressing as Captain Alex Brosque, which flattered the Sky Blues skipper so much he wants the Serbian to play in the costume.
“Ninko looked very very good,” Brosque said.
“I might get him to play for me on the weekend and make me look even better.”
Brosque said the night was a great was for the squad to bond off the field following their unbeaten start to the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season.
While the Sky Blues Captain couldn’t picked a worst dressed, he said Matt Simon’s Olaf outfit from the movie Frozen took the cake for best dressed on the night.
“It was a good night,” Brosque said.
“It was good for the boys, after a tough pre-season and good start to the season, to get together away from football and enjoy each other’s company on a good night out.
“It was Rhyan Grant’s idea to dress up I believe. Rhyan Grant is always dressing up any chance he gets, he’s suggesting a fancy dress for no real reason.
“For me best dressed was Matty Simon, a 7 foot tall Olaf [from the movie Frozen].
“He was in full kit for the whole night, he must have lost about seven or eight kilos but fair play to him. I don’t think there was a worst kit, everyone was great and went all out and looked great.”
