Sydney FC has fallen valiantly to a Perth Glory double from Sam Kerr, going down 2-1 away at nib Stadium in scorching and trying conditions.

- Kennedy Goal – 28’ – Another belting freekick goal as the ball strikes both posts and ripples the net.

It was Alanna Kennedy that grabbed the game’s opener, putting the ball up where the spiders live with another unstoppable and trademark free-kick.
The Sky Blues absorbed a flurry of attacks to maintain their advantage with Bledsoe making a number of world-class saves to ensure a first half lead.
Perth restored parity shortly after the break as Kerr headed home from a corner.
It was Kerr again with the same method that took the lead for Perth just five minutes from full time.
That would prove the difference in the end despite a number of late chances to square the ledger.
