Sky Blue Pathways Strengthens Community Connections in 2025

In 2025, the Sky Blue Pathways team continued its commitment to building strong emotional connections across the community through a wide range of both established and new initiatives.

By partnering with community groups, schools, clubs, associations, and service providers, Sky Blue Pathways delivered authentic Sky Blue football experiences to more than 30,000 participants across our catchment area.

These programs focused on participation, development, and connection, ensuring football remained accessible, inclusive, and inspiring for players of all ages and abilities.

Schools & Development Programs

Sky Blue Pathways delivered an extensive range of school-based and structured development programs, reaching thousands of young participants:

  • School Holiday Clinics: 65 programs delivered, engaging 6,500 participants
  • Skills Training Program: 14 programs with 800 participants
  • Sky Blues in Schools / School Blitz: Reached 1,000 students
  • JAG Programs: Continued elite pathway opportunities for identified players
  • Sydney Catholic Schools Gala Days: 11 gala days delivered with 6,500 students participating
  • Sydney Catholic Schools Trials: Identification and development opportunities for school athletes
  • After School Programs: Delivered across 60 services, reaching 5,500 participants
  • TASK Programs: Supporting targeted engagement and skill development
  • ATP / FTP Programs: 740 players participated in advanced training pathways
  • Sydney FC Student & Business Program: 30 students with 3,981 volunteering hours

Tournaments & Match Day Activations

Match day experiences and competitive events played a key role in connecting participants with the Sky Blue brand and football culture:

  • Summer Football Programs (new): 2 programs delivered with 1,500 players
  • In-Club Programs (new): 250 participants engaged through club-based delivery
  • Match Day Activations: 4,000 participants experienced football on game day
  • Tournaments:
    • First XI Cup
    • UA SFC Cup
    • SFC Primary Schools Cup
      A total of 185 teams and 2,600 participants
  • Kiama Football Festival: Attracted over 1,000 attendees, celebrating football and community
