Rhyan Grant

A vastly talented defender hailing from the Central West of New South Wales. Although listed as a defender, Grant’s versatility has seen him play in numerous positions for Sydney FC. A junior Australian representative, Grant brings physicality to the fold but also a hard working ethos and excellent passing ability. Grant was a regular in the Sky Blues team in 2012/13 starting in 24 of his 25 appearances with a number of standout performances earning Grant the 2012/13 Players’ Player of the Year award as well as a place in the Hyundai A-League All Stars squad. His 2013/14 season was cut short by a knee injury which side lined him for 8 months, however he returned with renewed vigour in season 2014/15, scoring a stunning strike against the Central Coast Mariners, and will be targetting an injury free season 2015/16.
