After tasting success in his first official outing in Sydney FC colours last Saturday, Slovakian import, Karol Kisel will make the first home appearance of his Hyundai A-League career at the Sydney Football Stadium this Sunday as the Sky Blues aim to continue their winning start to the season against Adelaide United.

“I am really looking forward (to this game) and I want to invite everybody to come and see us do our best,” said the talented midfielder. “They (Adelaide) played very well their first game, (from) what I have seen. I hope we will have a big crowd on Sunday to support us.”

Sydney entered Version 5 of the Hyundai A-League on the back of a strong pre-season and continued that good form with an impressive 3-2 win away over the North Queensland Fury in the opening round. The Reds also looked good in their 1-nil win over the highly-fancied Perth Glory and Sydney knows it will be no easy task taking the three points.

“They surprised me, I think they were one of the best teams in the first round. You can see that they are well organised,” explained Kisel. “It-s important to do well because we need to declare that we are a good side and that we are ready for a good season.”

“We want to play well and entertain the fans. It-s important to invite (the fans) for other matches. We want to have big crowd, not only for first game but in coming games as well.”

The Sky Blues are expecting a big turnout for their first home hit-out of the season and are aiming for a crowd in excess of 20,000 at the stadium this weekend.

The round-two contest kicks-off at 5:00pm at the SFS on Sunday.
