Play your role as we look to recapture the Beyond Blue Cup!

Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory will battle out for the Beyond Blue Cup on Saturday night when the trophy is once again up for grabs in the annual clash at Allianz Stadium.

This year marks the 12th consecutive season the Cup has been played for, with the partnership with Beyond Blue beginning in 2011.

The Sky Blues are looking to follow up on their away victory over their rivals while also avenging their loss the last time the two teams competed for the Cup.

This year’s Beyond Blue campaign, Play Your Role, will once again ask fans to think about and share how they LOOK, ASK, LISTEN or SUPPORT their friends and family’s mental health.

Ahead of the game, read below for some simple ways you can play your role:

Keep a LOOK out for teammates that are acting differently.  Noticing these changes in behaviour and understanding the signs and symptoms can be very important.

Regularly ASK your teammates how they’re going, this is a great way to show that you care.

Take the time to LISTEN to your teammates, even if it’s just for a quick chat.

Let your teammates know that you’re there for them and that you will offer SUPPORT whenever they need it.
