Sydney FC young gun Dimitri Petratos will be sidelined for the next four weeks after sustaining an ankle injury at training.

The 18-year-old will not travel with his Sydney FC teammates this weekend for their 12-day trip of Korea and Japan which features 2011 AFC Champions League clashes with Suwon Samsung Bluewings (Tuesday 3 May) and Kashima Antlers (Tuesday 10 May).

Petratos will commence rehabilitation immediately with the hope of returning to light running in three weeks.
